Runnin' & Gunnin'

So it's been some time since my last post...I'm not going to appologize for that, my time has been split between new family and new ministry. My routine that I've stuck with since my late teens has been all but destroyed in the past two months. I really enjoy routine and it's been difficult for me to adjust, but adjusting I am!

So what's been going on with me? Well the family is doing VERY WELL! Brodee has blown past 12 pounds and is a little over 2 feet tall. Everyday he's changing! So when I get home from work it's fun to hang out with him and see what's new. Neena is also doing well...all post-partum checks have been great and she has been and continues to be an excellent mother. Brodee could not be more blessed. Church stuff has been incredibly busy, but we're having a ton of fun. It's amazing to see so many people that are committed to loving on teenagers, no matter what. It's taking some time to learn the new systems that this church uses, but I'm getting a lot of positive feedback and the teens seem to be responding well to the change.

The newest thing is: We're buying a HOUSE!!! It's in Round Rock...a suburb of Austin, and the house is 15 miles from the building. The house is 1750 sq. ft. with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large dine-in kitchen, separate dinning room, and fireplace in the living room. The neighborhood is more than we could ask for, with parks, a lake, great schools, and seemingly great neighbors. Plus, with freeways close (I-35 & MOPAC) I can make it to and from church in under 15 minutes. So, we're excited. We've just begun the offer process, so we're waiting to hear back from the sellers. So PRAY!! that this is a great house, with great neighbors, and is a place where we can make a great home and are able to be Christ to all around us.

In other news (with pics), Brodee is 2 months old today!! So enjoy the new pics.

Rockin' the new chair!!

Flexing his strong arm after sitting up on his own!

He's all Man: notice the location of his left hand...I'm so proud!

Gotta learn to ride some time!!

Hey Josh! Hope you can get back into some type of routine. I do better when I have a routine too. I can't believe how much Broedee has changed - I swear that kid cannot take a bad picture! And is it even possible that he's gotten MORE cute?!?! Good luck with the house - it sounds awesome! We'll be praying...

Brodee is just adorable!!! I'm so glad to hear that everything is going well with family and work and we're SO EXCITED about your new house! It sounds wonderful. Can't wait to see pictures. And we will definitely be praying for you during this transition.

Oh, and don't worry about the routine. A new one will develop very soon. And then he'll be a teenager...and routine will go out the window once again! (Sorry, just had to warn you.) ; )

We love and miss you guys bunches!!!!

That Brodee is one good looking grandson!! I went on google earth and looked at your house and spotted the lake and park nearby so that will be pretty awesome to have for family walks to the lake. Looks like a great house. God is doing some awesome things with and for ya'll. Go Brodee!
