Getting Settled
OK, so it's been a week here in Texas and at the new job and man-o-man has it been crazy...and fun...and just what we needed. The house is great, THANK YOU BILLY & SHELA!
I've been trying to get a good pic of the 10-12 deer that hang out on the property but it's been too dark each time. Out of the group of deer there's a 10 point buck that's almost trophy size. I'd like to get a couple shots at him...one with a camera and one with a rifle:).
Brodee is also doing incredibly well. At the doc's office today he weighed 9 pounds, 6 ounces and is 21.5 inches long. He's now ready for belly time and is progressing really well and way too fast for daddy.
One thing about working is that I'm not home for most of the day and boy-oh-boy do I miss my son! Didn't know I could miss someone that bad, but I can't help it. I love my boy and can't stand to be without him.
In other news...Brodee smiled for the first time tonight! Thank God I was home to see the first one. I was tickling him with one of his teething rattles and he finally lit up. We tried to get it on camera but below is the best shot we could get.
I was also giving him some fish kisses...which I do everday when I get home, but today he thought my lips was a bottle and we got some cute pics of that too. Enjoy!

Cool man! Glad you are getting settled in there.
Great pics of the boy - he looks sooooo happy. :)

Aww... what a cutie pie Brodee is! I'll keep checking in and I expect to see a lot of pics on Facebook soon!
I know what you mean about missing your boy while you're at the "day job". Dan has been working in Scottsdale with Darren for two weeks and he has complained about not being able to see the kids as much as he used to. He hasn't said that about me, but I'm assuming he thinks it anyway!
Take care of your sweet family. We miss you guys.
Great pics! I love it when babies try to latch on to your lips- always my favorite thing with our kiddos and I miss it! Glad that things @ the dr. went well. Did y'all like her?
Granna and Grandpa loved the pictures. keep them coming.
Thanks for posting the great pictures. It was great to see Brodee's smile and your new house. Way different landscape than Arizona, huh? Made me a little homesick! ; )
Glad y'all are doing well. We miss you and hope to get to come see you before too long.
Cute pics! Thanks for sharing. Brodee looks like he already has TONS of personality!
