Coming to a Sad Realization

So my wife has been pointing out this sad new reality to me for...well, years now. I think, deep down, I've become a country boy. Some facts that prove this: (1) I drive a truck, not just any truck but a BIG truck, with 4 doors, slightly lifted, towing package, big V-8, black, with a small Texas flag decal on the back window. (2) Country music just sounds good now, and truthfully has ALWAYS. Not just that, but I'm listening to it all the time now. UGH! (3) I own a pair of real cowboy boots...I know, sad but true. (4) My little boy's room is decorated in John Deere Tractors, Rustic Texas style lamps, art work, etc. (5) When I get mad, tired, and/or excited this really bad habit comes out of nowhere...they call it a southern draw. (6) I really enjoy Rodeos and would secretly like to be a Rodeo Clown. (7) I have dreams of owning land. (8) hunting, riding horses, Fly fishing...LOVE IT! (9) I've actually spent a lot of time working on my grandparents farm...OH YEAH, people in my family owned a farm! (10) My wife told me...so it must be true!
So you see, My name is Josh...and I'm country. But don't think for one minute you'll get me in a pair of wranglers and a Cowboy hat...Noo-ooo sir!!

Now all you need is a gun rack and some spittle on the side of your truck.

LOL! I think your Texas decal is what made your pick-up a REAL pick-up!

I can't criticize you, because I have many of these same traits (except the whole hunting/fishing thing and I don't own any cowboy boots). But my Texas drawl sure comes out when I'm excited, tired, etc!

I say "rejoice" in your country-ness! : ) It's a "Texas Thang"! You know what they say..."You can take the boy out of Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the boy." (or something like that!) ; )

Well, you are absolutely country...I had no idea. It's not just Texas either...it's country. And didn't you use to wear wrangers? HMMM? It's ok to be country just make sure that you still speak proper english, and not like the blue colar tv stuff.

Oh Josh...this is alarming. I will pray for you. I will pray you get relocated to the Pacific Northwest for a time.

My suggestion...lean towards the mountain man direction!!!!!!!!!!
